Automation QA - Onsite P.Yên Hoà, HN

We are looking for a proactive QA Engineer with a strong ownership mindset to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining Test Plans, creating comprehensive Test Cases/Scenarios in English, and executing both Manual and Automation testing. You will leverage your automation skills using Playwright for Web OR Appium for Mobile, perform API testing using Postman, and query databases via basic SQL to ensure high quality releases and streamline our software quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Test Planning & Strategy

• Proactively analyze product requirements and design detailed Test Plans and Test Strategies for each release.

• Define coverage scope, risk assessments, and execution schedules to align with project milestones.

2. Test Case Design & Documentation

• Write, maintain, and manage clear, well-structured Test Cases and Test Scenarios in English.

• Ensure test coverage aligns with functional and non-functional product specifications.

3. Automation Testing

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts for Web (using Playwright) OR Mobile App (using Appium).

• Integrate automated test scripts into the team’s CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

4. Test Execution & Bug Tracking

• Perform manual and automated testing across Web and/or Mobile platforms.

• Write basic SQL queries to validate data consistency, verify database changes, and support test setup/cleanup.

• Execute API testing using Postman to verify backend endpoints and integration flows.

• Log, track, and manage bugs in detail using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello)

• Collaborate with developers to verify fixes and perform re-testing until resolution.

5. Process Improvement & Collaboration

• Proactively communicate with Product Owners, Developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements without requiring constant supervision.

• Recommend improvements to optimize testing efficiency, quality workflows, and release cycles.

• 2–4 years of experience as a QA/QC Engineer in software development environments.

• Deep understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) methodologies and proven expertise in creating Test Plans.

• Automation Experience:

  o Building the Framework

  o Practical experience with Playwright for Web UI/API testing OR Practical experience with Appium for Mobile app testing (Android/iOS).

  o Experienced in handling flaky tests

  o Quality Reporting: Prepare periodic reports on automated testing progress and results for the Project Manager and stakeholders.

• English proficiency: Ability to read and understand English documents and write accurately with correct grammar. Able to independently draft test cases, bug reports, and technical documentation in English.

• Proactive Mindset: Highly self-motivated, capable of managing time effectively, taking initiative, and collaborating with cross-functional teams without step-by-step supervision.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a quality-driven mindset.

Nice-to-have

• Proficiency in both Playwright and Appium.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development models.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).

• Experience in software outsourcing or working with foreign clients.

  + 2-3 yoe: Up to 20 triệu

  + 3-4 yoe : Up to 24 triệu

• Phụ cấp onsite 100.000 VND/ngày làm việc.
