Auto + Manual Tester - Remote

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts to ensure software quality across web applications and backend services.

Plan, execute, and optimize functional, integration, regression, and API testing while identifying, tracking, and resolving defects.

Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle to ensure high-quality releases.

Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.

Perform web, API, database, and performance testing, as well as troubleshoot and debug complex application issues.

Contribute to QA best practices, test strategy, test documentation, and continuous process improvements across projects.

Work effectively with distributed teams and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders in English.

Bachelor's degree in C.S. or related technical discipline.

5+ years of work experience in development and/or testing roles.

Must have a technical background and a thorough understanding of software development engineering and methodologies.

Good experience with different Operating Systems.

Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple, diverse projects simultaneously.

Must be careful, flexible, independent, and self-motivated. • Must have experience in working with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.

Must have experience in working with GIT and version control systems.

Must have automation experience with languages such as Java and Groovy.

Must have experience with using Java and Groovy with test frameworks such as Cucumber and Gherkin.

Must have automation experience with tools like Selenium, Jenkins, Cucumber, and Maven.

Must have experience with front-end development technologies: Angular, ReactJS...

Must have a strong knowledge of web services (REST API, SOAP Ul) using tools like Bruno, RestAssured, Postman, or similar is a plus.

Must have Database skills with Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

Understanding of QA practices and principles, including test case creation and management, Defect management, and metrics, etc.

Having experience with using JavaScript and Typescript, with test frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and WebdriverlO, is a big plus.

Experience in white box testing and debugging the following: Web-based application, back-end server testing, scalability, and performance.

Experience in cloud-based testing environments and CI/CD pipelines, such as AWS is a plus.

Having experience in testing multi-tenant applications is a plus.

Having experience in testing message-driven applications is a plus.

Having experience in testing business rules using Drools or similar rule engines is a plus.

Having experience in working within distributed teams and managing time zone differences is a plus.
