Automation QA - Remote

• Define and own the overall quality strategy, ensuring high standards across the software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test frameworks for modern web applications.

• Develop and execute integration and API testing across internal services and third-party systems.

• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and international stakeholders to ensure quality throughout design, development, and release.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve test coverage and release reliability.

• Support production environments by monitoring issues, performing incident triage, root cause analysis, and driving quality improvements.

• Leverage AI-powered development tools to accelerate test creation while ensuring the accuracy, maintainability, and effectiveness of automated tests.

• 7+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, including significant experience in Senior QA or QA Lead roles.

• Proven experience defining and owning the quality strategy for a product or platform.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building End-to-End (E2E) automation for web applications using Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks (mandatory requirement).

• Strong experience with integration testing across services and APIs, including REST APIs, webhooks, and integrations with third-party or legacy systems.

• Good understanding of React frontend and ASP.NET (C#) backend architectures to design effective testing strategies.

• Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL, for data validation and backend verification.

• Experience supporting production systems, including monitoring, incident triage, and root cause analysis (RCA).

• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into modern software delivery workflows.

• Experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate test automation while applying strong engineering judgment to review, validate, and maintain test quality.

• Strong English communication skills (both written and spoken), with the ability to work directly with stakeholders in Switzerland and New Zealand without translation support.

Nice to Have

• ISTQB Certification.

• Experience testing microservices, distributed systems, or cloud-native applications.

• Experience with performance, security, or load testing.

• Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms.
