Automation Tester - Remote

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and JavaScript
- Implement and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Cypress, Karate, and Cucumber
- Perform comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman and validate both functional and non-functional requirements
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions/Workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery of unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing
- Conduct performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
- Work with Docker and Kubernetes for test environment provisioning and containerized test executions
- Apply behavior-driven development (BDD) practices with Cucumber
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in test automation, with strong coding experience in Java and JavaScript
- Proven expertise with automation frameworks: Selenium, Cypress, Karate, and Cucumber
- Solid experience in API testing using Postman, and preferably automation of API tests
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Workflows
- Proficient in Git and version control best practices
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including Agile, unit testing, integration, system testing, and UAT
- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
