Blockchain Developer - Remote

- Develop, test, and deploy Java based microservices..
- Assist in architecture and design of decentralized applications, ensuring effective integration with existing applications.
- Develop enterprise-grade blockchain-native applications that can manage transaction lifecycles, index blockchain data, and ensure data integrity of financial transactions and workflows.
- Work closely with other teams to develop and optimize blockchain protocols.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for blockchain applications, diagnosing and resolving issues quickly and efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, development tools, and emerging technologies in blockchain, cryptocurrency, and decentralized finance (DeFi).
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including management and technical support colleagues.
- Document new solutions as well as maintaining that of existing ones

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of common algorithms, data structures, design patterns (event driven messaging)
- Proficient in Java programming language and frameworks such as Spring, Spring boot or Quarkus.
- Professional experience with Solidity smart contracts and/or Ethereum Virtual Machine.
- Proficient in container technology, Kubernetes, Docker, Nomad & CI/CD & Test-Driven development
- Experience implementing applied cryptography to secure sensitive user data, both at rest and in transit.
- Experience with industry best practices for managing application secrets, credentials, and encryption keys in a cloud environment.
- Advanced understanding of microservices and restful architectures
- Advanced understanding of developing highly available applications in a cloud services environment, preferably Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud.
- Has a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience
