Data Engineer - Remote

- PoC Development
- Design and execute proof-of-concept projects for clinical data analysis and reporting, validating feasibility, scalability, and performance.
- Transformation Logic Library
- Build modular, reusable transformation logic components (e.g., derivations, transpositions, validations) orchestrated dynamically via metadata.
- Metadata-Driven Orchestration
- Integrate metadata repositories to automate transformation workflows and validation processes.
- In-Memory Data Processing
- Implement high-performance in-memory pipelines in R to process large-scale clinical datasets efficiently.
- Remote Database Integration
- Develop robust interfaces for persisting transformed data to remote databases using RESTful APIs, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Reporting & Visualization
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations in R (Shiny, ggplot2) and collaborate with BI teams on Power BI and Spotfire integration.
- Working time: 2 shifts (2pm-6pm and 8pm-12am Vietnam time)

- 3-5 year of experience as a Data Engineer
- Strong proficiency in R programming and RStudio.
- Hands-on experience with R packages for analytics, wrangling, and reporting.
- Familiarity with metadata-driven architectures and MDR platforms.
- Proven ability to optimize in-memory processing for large datasets.
- Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs with remote databases.
- Solid understanding of data validation, integrity, and compliance in the clinical domain.
