- Project Manager

- Ensure the interests of the Sponsors are met by the project and programme, by effectively managing the business benefits (identifying, defining and tracking the benefits and outcomes required of the project and programme).
- Work with the Regional IT/Change Director and Business Change Manager to ensure that the work of the programme, including the scoping of each project, covers the necessary aspects required to deliver the services that will lead to operational benefits.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget. Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical/business feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress; and then manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Manage the relationship with partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring that communication plans are suitably created. Ensuring that the appropriate risk management controls are put in place and then used to reduce risk to projects.
- Delegate project tasks based on team members individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels.
- Provide the appropriate level of reporting to the Project Sponsor and the associated Steering Group, being able to articulate the progress status and risks and issues of the project.
- Be able to understand inter-project dependencies, the volume and concurrency
of overall organisational change and being able to see potential conflict with resources.

• Fluency in MS office products not least PowerPoint and Project
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of information systems project management processes and wider organisation units of information systems is required.
• Knowledge of delivering strategic transformation projects, preferably with experience of delivering ERP and/or BI projects.
• An understanding of how the company is organised as a business, what the business functions do at a high level.
• Knowledge of different training and communication techniques as well as a working knowledge of HR guidelines.
• Knowledge of process analysis methodologies e.g., Lean and Six Sigma
• Knowledge of analysis techniques e.g., Gap analysis, requirements analysis, MoSCoW, SIPOC, Process constraint analysis
Experience:
• Extensive Transformational Change Management and Business Improvement experience, with a demonstrable track record of delivering significant change within complex, fast paced, transformational projects.
• Significant breadth of leadership and management experience in the Retail industry or within a similar fast paced environment.
• Significant matrix management experience and proven talent for building, motivating, and developing successful teams.
• Experience of end-to-end complex programme delivery, and experience of various project delivery methodologies.
Qualifications :
• Experience of Prince 2, Six Sigma or similar.
