QA Engineer(Auto+Manual) - Remote

We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of testing methodologies, hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, and the ability to design and drive test strategies across complex projects. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, leadership within the QA function, and the ability to mentor junior testers. The candidate is also expected to apply AI tools in daily testing work.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to design comprehensive test strategies and test plans.

• Perform manual and automated testing across web and mobile platforms.

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Pytest).

• Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks and regression suites.

• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or automated approaches.

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Lead and perform different types of testing: functional, regression, integration, usability, performance, and security.

• Identify, document, and track defects using issue tracking tools (JIRA, Redmine), ensuring timely resolution.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

• Provide clear test reports, quality metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders.

• Drive continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and standards.

• Use AI to review requirements and detect gaps, ambiguities, and conflicts.

• Use AI to generate test cases and test data, then review and finalize the output.

• Use AI to support testing: writing scripts, analyzing failures, drafting bug reports.

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years in test automation.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices.

• Hands-on experience writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test automation suites.

• Proficiency in one or more test automation frameworks/tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, JUnit, TestNG).

• Coding skills in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python; experience building an automation framework.

• Experience with API testing (manual + automated).

• Solid knowledge of SQL for test data validation.

• Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot…) for requirement review, test case generation, and testing support.

• Strong English communication skills (speaking, reading, writing) to collaborate effectively in international teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust, Gatling).

• Knowledge of security testing concepts and tools.

• Familiarity with integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Experience with AI-powered testing tools (e.g., Playwright MCP, self-healing tests).
