Senior Fullstack Developer - Remote(Based HN)

About the project: The client is building a recruitment-related web platform where employers can browse anonymous, CV-backed candidate profiles and pay to unlock approved candidate details.

The platform already has an existing prototype. The selected developer will support the client in moving the product forward during a short development engagement, focusing on secure web application development, user account functionality, searchable candidate data, APIs, and deployment readiness.

Responsibilities

• Review the existing prototype and technical brief.

• Develop and improve full-stack web application features.

• Build and maintain secure user account and authentication flows.

• Work with structured profile data and searchable databases.

• Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs.

• Support deployment and environment setup.

• Coordinate with the technical lead for architecture, code quality, and delivery alignment.

• Provide regular progress updates and participate in client communication when needed.

• Ensure clean handover of code, documentation, and technical knowledge at the end of the engagement.

• 5+ YOE as a full-stack web developer.

• Hands-on experience building production-grade web applications.

• Strong experience with front-end frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar.

• Strong back-end development experience with Node.js, Laravel, NestJS, Django, or similar.

• Experience working with relational or document databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.

• Experience with user accounts, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.

• Experience building searchable data features, filters, listing pages, dashboards, or admin portals.

• Good understanding of API design and integration.

• Basic understanding of web application security, especially around user data and access control.

• Experience with deployment on cloud or VPS environments.

• Ability to work independently within a short delivery timeline.

• Good communication skills and ability to provide clear technical updates in English(level C1+).

Preferred:

• Recruitment platforms, job portals, HRTech, talent marketplaces, or candidate management systems.

• Marketplace, SaaS, or data-heavy web applications.

• Payment-related features or paid content unlock flows.

• Admin dashboards, approval workflows, and user management systems.

• Secure handling of personal or sensitive user data.

• Cloud deployment on AWS, GCP, Azure, Firebase, or similar platforms.

• Agile delivery, regular demos, code reviews, and client-facing collaboration.

• Working with Australian, Singaporean, or other international clients.

• Availability to start immediately or within a short notice period.

• Ability to attend an in-person client meeting in Hanoi if required.
