Senior Java Developer - Remote

• Design and develop scalable backend services for digital asset and institutional financial platforms.

• Build and maintain transaction-intensive systems covering transaction booking, ledger processing, reconciliation, settlement, and auditability.

• Design and implement digital asset deposit and withdrawal workflows, including transaction state management and operational controls.

• Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, domain models, APIs, and microservice architectures.

• Develop transaction-safe systems with strong requirements for consistency, traceability, auditability, and data integrity.

• Design and integrate REST APIs, event-driven services, and asynchronous processing for distributed systems.

• Collaborate with Product, Business, Operations, and Engineering teams to analyze requirements and deliver robust financial solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of system reliability and performance.

Domain & Professional Experience

• 5+ years of experience in digital assets, crypto, custodial platforms, exchanges, tokenization platforms, stablecoin infrastructure, or equivalent digital asset environments.

• Proven experience building middle-office banking platforms, operating platforms, or institutional financial systems.

• Strong understanding of transaction lifecycle management, operational controls, and financial workflows.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Transaction booking

  • Ledger processing

  • Reconciliation

  • Transaction state management

  • Audit and traceability requirements

• Strong understanding of the digital asset deposit and withdrawal lifecycle.

• Experience designing or supporting ledger-based transaction systems.

• Experience building distributed and transaction-intensive backend systems.

• Strong ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs and domain models.

Technical Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.

• Strong experience with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservice architectures.

• Solid experience designing and developing REST APIs.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing.

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and data modelling.

• Strong database design skills, including transaction management, data integrity, indexing, and query optimization.

• Experience with AWS, containerization, and Kubernetes.

• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub-based development workflows.

• Experience implementing automated testing and maintaining high-quality production code.

• Ability to design transaction-safe systems with strong auditability, traceability, consistency, and reliability requirements.
