Fullstack Developer (Java, ReactJS) - Remote

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.

• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices/monolithic applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Develop and maintain frontend features using React, including reusable components and state management.

• Integrate React applications with backend services and APIs, taking ownership of features across both frontend and backend.

• Design and implement scalable system architectures while evaluating technical trade-offs such as synchronous vs. asynchronous processing and monolith vs. microservices.

• Troubleshoot and optimize application performance, database queries, concurrency, and JVM-related issues.

• Collaborate with engineering teams and international stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions and continuously improve development practices.

Backend

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on Java/Backend development.

• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.

• Solid experience with Microservices and/or Monolithic architectures.

• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, backend performance optimization, and scalable application development.

• Good understanding of JVM internals, concurrency, and database interactions.

• Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL, including query optimization and indexing.

Frontend

• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development.

• Experience with component-based architecture and state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, Zustand, or equivalent.

• Ability to integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.

• Experience with Node.js for BFF development, tooling/scripts, or lightweight microservices is a plus.

Architecture & Cloud

• Ability to design systems and clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

• Comfortable taking ownership of both backend and frontend development within the same feature or module to minimize cross-team dependencies.

API Management – Nice to Have

• Experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X.

• Knowledge of API proxy design, OAuth2/JWT policies, rate limiting, and API lifecycle management.

• Strong API-first design mindset.

Communication

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to communicate effectively with international teams and stakeholders, participate in technical discussions, explain technical solutions and trade-offs, and collaborate independently without requiring translation support.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Apigee Edge/Apigee X and enterprise API management.

• Experience building BFF (Backend-for-Frontend) services using Node.js.

• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

• Experience working in international or multi-cultural development teams.

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, clean architecture, design patterns, and secure coding.
