Senior Computer Vision/AI Engineer - Remote

- Design and implement computer vision + reasoning (vision+language) pipelines for
blueprint understanding
- Build models to:
+ Detect and classify construction elements (foundations, walls, windows, doors,
fixtures)
+ Read legends, annotations, and free-form notes
+ Cross-reference plan views with detail / section sheets
- Deliver MVP-scope AI workflows:
+ AI-assisted takeoff (with human-in-the-loop)
+ 1–2 AI-automated takeoff flows (such as foundations, windows & doors)
- Partner with product and engineering to make outputs:
+ Explainable
+ Verifiable
+ Trusted by real contractors
- Help shape data strategy, evaluation metrics, and iteration loops

Working Model
- This is a Vietnam-based role working closely with a US-based founding team
- You’ll collaborate directly with experienced US product and engineering leaders
- Take ownership of your work.
- Clear communication (Vietnamese or English) and async collaboration are essential
- Expect daily meetings with the US team in the evening (Vietnam time) to discuss. Working hours are in Vietnam time.

- 5+ years of experience in Computer Vision / Applied ML
- Strong foundation in:
+ Object detection / segmentation
+ OCR or document understanding
+ Multimodal or layout-aware models
- Excellent Python + PyTorch
- Experience shipping ML models into real products
- Excellent use of AI assisted coding tools.
- Comfortable working in an iterative startup culture, where scope evolves quickly and
engineers own problems end-to-end

Nice to Have
- Experience with technical diagrams, CAD, schematics, or plans
- Interest in construction, architecture, or industrial AI
- Experience with human-in-the-loop or validation systems
