Technical Leader - Remote

About the project:

We are looking for a Tech Lead to guide the technical direction and delivery of enterprise-grade applications, including GenAI-powered features. You will take end-to-end ownership of projects from architecture through to production launch, while leading and mentoring a team of engineers. This role combines hands-on technical leadership across fullstack development with applied GenAI/Agentic AI engineering.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of frontend and backend systems of moderate to high complexity, end-to-end through to successful go-live.

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and fostering growth.

• Architect and implement enterprise-grade GenAI applications, including Agentic AI and RAG-based systems.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines) with SOPs covering automated testing, documentation generation, and deployment processes.

• Champion automated testing practices (unit, integration testing) across the team.

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Build and deploy containerized/serverless services using Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud-native services.

• Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform.

• Drive technical decisions on architecture, technology stack, and engineering standards.

• Collaborate with product and stakeholders; run Agile/Lean ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation).

• Proactively identify and communicate risks, blockers, and technical trade-offs to stakeholders.

• Minimum 6-7 years of software development experience, with proven results delivering projects end-to-end through successful go-live.

• Minimum 2 years of experience leading a team and mentoring team members.

• Experienced in designing and implementing frontend and backend APIs of moderate complexity.

• Strong advocate of automated testing (unit testing, integration testing).

• Proficient in cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Proficient in developing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines, including SOPs for testing and documentation generation.

• Proficient in serverless/containerization technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent cloud-native services.

• Proficient in the technology stack: NextJS, Node.js, React, TypeScript, Python, Microservices, MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL.

• Proficient in LangChain, LangGraph/PydanticAI, and Python.

• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform.

• Experience delivering enterprise-grade GenAI projects and applications.

• Strong understanding of GenAI concepts: context, prompt engineering, tokens, completions, vector databases, RAG applications, Agentic AI, etc.

• Knowledge of Git-based source control and branching models; proficient with GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

• Working knowledge of Agile/Lean methodologies and tools such as Confluence, JIRA.
