Business Analyst(Chinese) - Remote

We is delivering an AI pilot for procurement and materials planning - a risk dashboard and an AI assistant - for an electronics manufacturing group. The client's IT and procurement teams are based in Shenzhen, China, and the pilot plant is in Penang, Malaysia. Most client-side documents and communication are in Mandarin.

We are looking for a Functional Analyst / Business Analyst to act as the Mandarin bridge between the client and the EGS team. Language is the core strength of this role, but the candidate must also understand how IT projects run and bring relevant industry experience. The engagement covers a 4-week design phase, with a possible part-time extension into the build phase depending on the design outcome (not yet confirmed).

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Join workshops and interviews in Mandarin with the client's planners, buyers and IT team, working alongside the consulting partner's BAs. 

• Read and translate Mandarin documents and Excel files, including business processes, calculation logic and ERP data structures. 

• Turn business requirements into functional specifications and user stories in English for the EGS team. 

• Interpret and support communication between the EGS team and the client during on-site sessions. 

• Fluent Mandarin, spoken and written (Simplified Chinese). 

• Fluent spoken and written English and/or Vietnamese. 

• Experience as a BA/FA, comtor or IT translator on software projects. 

• Willing to work on-site in Shenzhen (possibly Penang) for at least 2 weeks. 

• Available from 9 Nov 2026. 

• Hybrid - min 2 weeks onsite in Shenzhen (possibly Penang), remote for the rest

  + 3-5 yoe: Up to 30 triệu

  + >5 yoe : Up to 38 triệu
